About Me
Art has been really important to me for a very long time. Since drawing horses and high fashion in 3 and 4th grade, to learning that it could possibly be a profession in high school, art and creativity has always made me feel alive. My art has grown with me as I go through stages of my life. My primary loves is working with companies on my favorite properties, but most importantly, creating art that is from my brain. Art that is meaningful and honest, speaks about mental health, and helps me get through tough times, and in turn hopefully helps others get through similar feelings and situations.
Sarah is a fine art oil painter, who has a passion for dream based surrealism with a focus on interpersonal human emotion. She loves to focus on love, understanding the world, and deep self introspection.
Also, Sarah has worked in the entertainment illustration industry for over 20 years, for many companies as a freelance artist. She creates unique fanart, with Art Deco and Art Nouveau visions of our world. She uses popular fandoms to create a sense of wonder and larger than life archetypes, and brings her own enthusiasm to the subject matter.
Sarah lives in California with two giant puppies and a wookiee. She is an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa Indians. Aside from art (Which is the driving force of everything), she loves live music, cats, good food, laughter, love, gardening, thrift stores, and the outdoors.
She has exhibited her art at these places, and more: Lucca Games and Comics Italy, Angouléme France, Vienna Comic Con, MCM Comic Con London, MCM Birmingham, Prague Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration, San Diego Comic Con, New York Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con and more.
